Ave Maria music by Eva Toller; lyrics a traditional Latin prayer There must have been hundreds of Ave Marias composed by now! On the Choral Public Domain Library alone (http://www.cpdl.org/) there are currently 83 scores that you can download. About my version: even though there are no instructions about dynamics etc. written in the score, you should of course vary the singing of the different parts. In the homophonic parts ("Ave Maria", "Gratia plena", "Sancta Maria") you can sing in a "Grave" tempo and style, while in the polyphonic parts ("Dominus tecum", "Maria ora pro nobis") you can sing a little more "Allegretto". Of course, in the end it's totally up to you how you want to perform this song; these are only suggestions.
